The Challenge

First Liberty's Founders Weekend in Washington, DC brought founders and supporters together for a multi-day gathering centered on legacy, conversation, and connection. The event moved fast, from an exclusive White House luncheon and Capitol tour through general sessions and evening receptions, and Launchpad needed recap content turned around same-weekend so producers could use it in real time, not after the fact..

Our Approach

We sent a two-person crew, an on-site editor paired with a B-roll and camera operator, shooting on a Red Komodo with a full prime lens kit for flexibility across formal sessions, candid moments, and DC's backdrop. We worked inside Launchpad's production framework, syncing with their A/V team and adapting to a schedule that shifted between formal program sessions and off-site moments like the White House luncheon. Every recap was built to be ready for review well ahead of when it needed to go out, so nothing held up the next day's plan.

Deliverables

Daily recaps went out on a same-day turnaround so the production team had footage in hand before the next session started. Full event B-roll and a personalized thank-you video from the First Liberty founder rounded out the package, giving the client material to send straight to attendees after the weekend wrapped.

Outcome

The media kept the room engaged and the energy high, and that focus carried straight through to the moment that mattered: donors choosing generosity, lives changed because of it.
